Riflesso Polished Plaster (20KG)

RIFLESSO is a covering designed for interior and exterior use. It has been formulated with slaked lime (12 months old), powder marble, natural mineral inert and inorganic pigments. This product is UV rays and mildew resistant.

It is recommended for application on interior and exterior walls of prestigious and historically important buildings. In fact this stucco creates a marble like impression.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
 

Stainless steel Trowel and flexible steel Spatula: Apply the product as such or dilute it by water up to 5% if necessary. Apply three coats of RIFLESSO with a steel trowel. Waiting 4-6 hours among coats to obtain the best result. Both first and second coat must be well shaved, smoothed but not shined. Pass the third coat crossing the brush strokes, in order to evenly distribute the product over the surface. After completion of partition wall shine with flexible steel spatula and cross in all directions till the final desired effect is got.

In order to better protect RIFLESSO from aging and to increase its beauty you can apply on it a coat of special wax after 5-6 days.

PLEASE NOTE-

COLOURS CAN VARY UPTO 20% FROM THE BROCHURE ALWAYS BEST TO GET A TESTER TUB IF YOU ARE UNSURE

Also another thing to keep in mind is the colour lightens by 3 shades from the colour in the tub

Always use primariflesso (which is the primer) before applying the riflesso

PRODUCT APPLICATION
 

PREPERATION OF WALL-

Preperation is key…. to ensure the surface that you are going to apply on is flat and and smooth with no imperfections.

If needing to apply a product to help with a smooth flat area we recommended to apply flystuk

because it will even out the surface, than just sand back.

To help stop the suction of the surface apply 1 coat of fissacrill

PRIMING THE SURFACE

Apply 1 coat of primariflesso which can be diluted with 20% of water and leave to dry for 2 hours, and then give a light sand if needed.

APPLICATION OF RIFLESSO

Next is applying the first coat of Riflesso and leave to dry for 12 hours.

Then apply Second coat of Riflesso and leave to dry for 6 to 12 hours,

Apply your 3rd coat and you can add as many colours wet on wet.

Compress with your Trowel and polish with a 4000 grit,
The next day you can polish again with 4000grit.

In order to preserve your Riflesso from ageing and to increase its beauty you apply the Riflesso wax(cera riflesso) A high quality wax, you apply this Thinly with either a sponge or cotton cloth,

Be careful with light coloured products as it may cause yellow stains if you apply too much.
The last stage is to buff up with a polishing Pad but best results use a car/orbital buffer.

For the primer you use primariflesso, then 3 coats of riflesso and for extra shine you can use the cera riflesso which is designed specifically for this product.

STORAGE

Shelf-life: 2 years in original tightly closed containers away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Always reseal properly and store it tightly closed to prevent evaporation of the product and entry of air. Store it upside down after use.

Min storage temperature: +5°C (41°F) Max storage temperature: +30°C (86°F)
