Can be applied over volare, infinito or just used by itself. This product gives a shine finish.
The effects of Pietra Focata can be achieved in different types of finishes (Ratio 1 kg Pietra Focata neutral + 0,5 kg METAL POWDER ) and can also be coloured with MAXXI pigments or can be used neutral.
APPLICATION: After 12 hours from the application of the base-coat apply a first coat of Pietra Focata neutral with a stainless steel trowel in various directions according to the desired effect. After 4-6 hours, apply the second coat with Pietra Focata neutral base + 0.5 kg of METAL 3D POWDER.
METAL EFFECT is obtained by applying Pietra Focata neutral base + 0,5 kg METAL 3D POWDER in the same way as for the first coat and different types of metals can be spread with a trowel.
After 12 hours we proceed by smoothing with a orbital sander equipped with suction and then polishing.
If you also want to create the following effects: COLOURED or OXIDIZED COPPER, follow the instructions below.
COLORED is obtained by using Pietra Focata neutral base colored with MAXXI pastes applied in several points after the first coat of Pietra Focata neutral. For the second coat use Pietra Focata + METAL 3D POWDER; after 12 hours proceed with roto-orbital sanding equipped with suction and with abrasive disc 320 on the whole surface and more deeply in the areas where colored Pietra Focata has been applied until reaching the colored part. . Sand using the roto-orbital equipped with suction and then with abrasive discs 320-600 -800 -3000 -600
OXIDIZED COPPER is obtained by using Pietra Focata + METAL 3D POWDER COPPER applied in several points after the first coat of Pietra Focata neutral. After 12 hours, sand the surface with roto-orbital equipped with suction and with abrasive disc 320 – 600. Then apply two coats of copper green activator. Apply two coats ( spaced 2-4 hours apart ) with a sponge / brush ( guided marking ) with a spray bottle ( casting marking ), then sand by using roto-orbital equipped with suction with consecutive abrasive discs -800 -3000 -600.
SANDING After 12 hours we proceed with roto-orbital sanding equipped with suction and with consecutive abrasive discs 320 – 600 -800 -3000 -6000.
Pietra focata 1L POLISHING AND PROTECTION After polishing with the 6000 abrasive disc apply a thin layer of CERA RIFLESSO using a soft microfibre cloth. Polish with Flex with lambswool pad
Attention close the container between one hand and the other by adding 3-5% of water on the product
The decorative product should not be applied to walls with sources of humidity, as the metal contained in the product tends to oxidize over time.
