APPLICATION OF PRODUCTS:

FISSACRIL:

• Apply 1 coat of fissacrill before primer
• Fissacrill takes the suction away, and if not used can cause problems with the colours
• Leave to dry 3-4 hours (can take longer depending on room temperature)
• Yield 8-10m2 per L
• Can be diluted up to 50%

PRIMAINFINITO/VOLARE:

Apply 1 coat of Primavolare by roller

Coverage 7/8sqm per 1L

Leave to dry for 2/3 hours (can take longer depending on room temperature)

VOLARE APPLICATION:

Are you have two options when it comes to applying Volare

• Option 1….Apply the 1st coat of Volare by using a stainless steel trowel Applying it random and flat or you have the option to apply the Basecoat which can be left ever so slightly rough .
• Leave it 2 to 4 hours then apply your second coat then pass over it a couple times when it starts to semi dry and leave 24h, after this time you sand with 180-220 grit, carefully clean the wall from dust after sanding.
• Option 2…Allow the base coat to totally dry Preferably next day. Give it a light sand with a 240 grit

These two options will give you a slightly different finish

Applying the Sealer – RAIN PROTEX:

Ready to use sealer, apply with sponge in circular movements

on the surface. This is a water-repellent and breathable product.

2 coats are recommended

3 to 6 hours in between coats (can take longer depending on room temperature)

FAQ’S:

Where can Volare be applied ? Volare can be applied to wall’s and ceilings, and can be used in bathrooms

Is Volare waterproof ? Volare is a lime based product which has antimicrobial properties and breathable finish, however this product is not recommended for any walls with water penetration e.g shower area,

To make volare waterproof an added sealer needs to be applied, but doing this might result in change the appearance of the finish.

Can you add stencils ? Yes stencils can be added on the 2nd coat of volare

Can Volare be coloured ? Yes, you can either add pigments to create your own colours or use the colour chart to choose a shade and we will pre colour this for you.
